Hermès was founded in 1837, by Thierry Hermès on Grands Boulevards quarter of Paris.
Initially, Hermès designed and produced the best-wrought harnesses and bridles for the carriage trade. Later, the house of Hermès increased its range of high-end luxury products.
Robert Dumas-Hermès introduced the jewelry pieces in the early 1950s. The famous orange brand with its Duc-carriage-with-horse logo is still run by the Hermès family.
The luxury goods company is specialized in leather products for women, jewelry and watches, fragrances, and ready-to-wear men’s products.
The Hermès headquarters are located in Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris, France.
