Singer and style icon Rihanna designed two exclusive jewelry collections in collaboration with Chopard. “Rihanna Loves Chopard” was launched during the 70th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, celebrating the brand’s 20th year as the official partner of the Festival.
The new collaboration comprises an haute jewelry and a jewelry line, which reflect different influences and sides of the star’s personality. “I have always been in love with Chopard’s exquisite jewelry, so to actually design collections with them is something I still can’t believe,” she stated. “It was a really incredible process, and I learned so much!”.
Rihanna worked with Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s Co-President and Creative Director, to create eleven pieces that capture the singer’s spirit and unique sense of style.
According to Caroline Scheufele, “Rihanna and I collaborated closely on the collections so you can feel her unstoppable energy, strong creativity, and inherent sense of design in every piece. With her unique style, she redefines the way people see and wear jewelry.”
“Rihanna Loves Chopard – Haute Jewelry Collection” evokes Rihanna’s tropical roots, pushing beyond conventional limits. The two pieces, a white gold and diamond ear clip and an exuberant pair of chandelier earrings with precious colored gemstones, show the brand’s exquisite craftsmanship in a fresh and modern way.
“Rihanna Loves Chopard – Jewelry Collection,” on the other hand, takes on a more geometric and urban approach, with a spark of Jungle Green ceramic blocks, a color personally chosen by Rihanna. The jewelry line also features 18-karat ethically sourced rose gold, Ice Cube-shaped diamonds, and diamond set gold cubes.
The pieces start at $1,460 and will be available in June, but Chopard is already accepting pre-orders.
Rihanna had already been revealing a bit of her first high-end jewelry design collaboration before its official launch, at the Grammy Awards and on the cover of Harper’s Bazar. The capsule collections were formally presented during the 70th Cannes Film Festival on the Chopard Rooftop at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Martinez.
The event, hosted by Caroline Sheufele and attended by celebrities like Julianne Moore and Adriana Lima, marked the first appearance of Rihanna at the Festival.
